Pastor's Weekly Word

This Sunday, we are reminded of the power of persistant faith through the story of a mother who refused to give up. In
Matthew 15, a woman came to Jesus carrying a burdon for
her daughter. She faced silence, resistance, and testing–but
she did not walk away. Instead, she pressed in, worshipped,
and cried out. “Lord, help me”.

Her story teaches us that faith is not proven when things are
easy, but when we continue to trust God even when answers
don’t come right away. Many today are carrying burdens–
especially for their children, their families, and situations that
seem beyond their control. The encouragement is this: don’t
stop praying, don’t stop believing, and don’t let silence con-
vince you that God is not working.

Great faith is often revealed in persistence. When we refuse
to give up, God moves in ways we cannot see at first. Just
like that mother received her answer, we are reminded that
God honors faith that endures.

God Bless,
Pastor Chris
