Verse of the Week

1 Corinthians 1:18
“For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the Power
of God.”

Pastor's Weekly Word

"The Power of Restoration"

On Palm Sunday, the crowds welcomed Jesus with
praise, shouting, :Hosanna!” Yet, just days later, many
of those same voices cried out, “Crucify Him”.

What changed?

Jesus didn’t meet their expectations.

They wanted a political king, but He came as a spiritual
Savior. They wanted immediate deliverance, but He
came to deal with their deepest need–sin.

Palm Sunday reminds us that it’s possible to praise Jesus
and still misunderstand Him. As we enter this week, we
must ask ourselves: Are we following Jesus for who He
truly is, or for whowe want Him to be?

May our faith be more than emotion, May it be rooted
in truth and fully surrendered to Christ.

God Bless,
Pastor Chris
